April 2023 End of Winter Woods Walk & Black Powder Shoot

End of Winter Woods Walk & Black Powder Shoot, on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023. Open to all black powder shooters, beginner or expert. Registration (required) starts at 11:30am and the shoot starts at 12:00pm.

The cost is $8.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place

Join us for an afternoon of primitive shooting in a casual atmosphere. Primitive dress is encouraged but not required. Shooting events will include a variety of targets that should challenge the individual as well as entertain, from 15 to 30 yards in distance in a natural woodland setting.

Rules and Regulations

1. No Smoking.
2. Patched round ball only.
3. Open sights only.
4. Prime only on the firing line.
5. The range officer has final authority in all matters!
6. Misfires must be cleared in a designated area after 3 attempts to fire the firearm.
7. A whistle indicates to cease all firing on the range.
8. No double balling is allowed. This will disqualify your score.
9. All ties will be settled by a shoot-off.
